Working Mom Magazine
What do I do? My mom wont listen?
i have been pulling out and picking at my hair for over a year now and i just thought it was a bad habit then i was reading a magazine one day and in th advice column there was a girl that said she had a problem pulling out her hair. the person working for the magazine who gives out the advice said it was trichotillomania witch is a hair pulling disorder associated with obsessive compulsive disorder. however whenever my mom complains about me pulling out my hair i try to tell her that i cant help it and its trich. but since my mom doesnt believe in disorders (any disorders) she wont believe me or do anything about it and ive noticed that its been getting worse too. i dont have any other family who can take me either because they do not live in this country. and i dont know how to drive but what can i say to my mom to make her believe me that i need some kind of help?
Your mom doesn't believe in disorders? Then tell her you don't believe in parents, then see what she says. Disorders exist and are very real. She's a moron with the IQ of a poptart and isn't smart enough to be a parent.
