Male circumcision....?
This isn't a question should I have my son circumscribed, it's more why is it aloud?
Even for the reasons they say you should do it (Which doesn't out weight the reasons you shouldn't do it), why is this legal? I wish I was uncircumcised, but I had no choice as the procedure was done at birth. At birth, they take away babies man hood basically and sensitivity to sex.
I don't believe this is fair to babies at ALL. I know, life isn't fair but the USA is one of the only countries to practice this insane procedure.

About the "clean" and "bacteria" problem. We have baths and they were put there for a reason. We brush our teeth to stop bacteria from causing diseases, so let's say remove our tongue because it holds bacteria? The logic behind it is just so disgusting!
This is a good question for discussion because it always brings out a lot of different ideas and reveals a great deal of misinformation. I totally agree with you that circumcision should be banned, and these are the reasons:
1. Most guys are not circumcised, simply because most guys live somewhere other than the USA.
2. Almost every country on earth recognises that circumcision is a cruel mutilation of the penis. It is very rarely practiced except for religious or extreme medical conditions.
3. Circumcision is cruel.
4. It does not make a person cleaner, neater, safer, better or any other advantage. What it does is to take away the natural protection of the penis and remove countless sensory perceptors that contribute to making the penis an asset to men's sexuality.
5. It is as good to be circumcised as it is to cut off your eyelid so your eye no longer has the protection and lubrication it was designed to have.
6. A male was born with a foreskin for a reason, and it was not so it could be cut off!
7. Circumcised penises are no cleaner than a natural one - any one who says so obviously has no idea what they are talking about. There are some who say "World Health Organization and the Center of Disease Control want all males circumcised", but he is deliberately warping the truth. Quite the opposite is true - the benefits of a foreskin far outweigh the benefits of circumcision. Only a terrorist would want to inflict such terrible carnage on another human. Certainly WHO and CDC are not in that business! The CDC (Centers for Disease Control) is an American invention. It has no motivation except to promote the wealth of American doctors and pharmaceutical companies, hence the recommendations it may or may not make will always be fundamentally tied to the purse strings of American doctors and pharmaceutical companies. Therefore, most countries of the world take no notice of their ridiculous notions.
8. Circumcision of the male is just as barbaric and cruel as circumcision of the female. Most people would not even consider inflicting such damage on a girl, yet in the USA it is still an acceptable practice to do it to a boy.
9. What you need to know about circumcision is that is it a terrible mutilation of the human body. No civilised person could ever allow this to happen to someone they claim to love.
10. Circumcision of a boy if as painful as circumcision of a girl - that means cutting of the clitoris and labia of a girl! I cannot imagine why anyone would want to inflict either injury and permanent damage on a child or any other human.
