Building Business Rent
I own a business and rent the building with a 10yr lease. The landlord is selling the building ?
The building I believe will be bought by the fire dept. and demolished. I have only been there for 3 years of the lease. What are my legal options? Do they have to buy me out first? Can I negotiate the offer if they do so?
Please serious answers only - I've put my life into this shop and for someone to take it away is really hurting me.

We dont even know what state you are in. The first thing I would do is become familiar with the contract you signed. See if you can id anything about a "cash at sale" clause. It is very likely that the document will identify your rights.
If not then, I would pay the fee and have a real estate attorney take a look at it and inform you of the next steps.
Personally, I would also go to the county and determine what zoning has changed. It may be possible you can at least slow them up that way.
